Developing Brand
Concept Development is the starting point of building your brand from the ground up. When introducing your brand to the world you need to know what it represents, who your target market is and what you want your clients to ‘feel’ when they see it for the first time. We use concept development to spear point your introduction via the following:
Research on competitors will be the the next step. In the current market who are the companies that you will be competing with? Who are the leaders in your field? How have they decided to market themselves? Which of their brands are working effectively? Why? How can we incorporate it into your new business venture by setting up your brand to market trends and beyond?
Main Artwork Development starts with logo development. This is the hanger that carries your visual art and needs to be strong enough to carry your complete portfolio. When your logo is complete we unpack it with all size combinations, using your logo layouts - following the rules and designs, while respecting your brand voice.
Combining brand understanding, research, look and feel from our concept development we will then expand on them. Bringing the elements together with vision and expertise we will decide which of the elements will complement and support each other best for your logo. Next is to finalize a pantone color pallet, fonts and rules for the logo use. Getting all the elements ready for the design process.
The logo design process is where we will take the decided elements, colors, fonts and rules and start the design. Clients will be presented with 2-3 options on the first draft. From the drafted logos 1 will be decided upon. There will be an option of 2 basic changes on the decided logo. When the logo has been finalized and approved we will package it into an AI folder with open artwork, fonts and pantone. We will also supply a black, white and color (if applicable) high and low resolution JPEG and PNG options for the client in the final suitcase.
Secondary Artwork is there to support and complement your company logo and brand. A logo is rarely able to entirely encompass your complex company. Deciding on either vector elements or photographic images needs to be a balanced and well thought out process. We make our decisions on researching which trend or combination of it will elevate your brand best.
The Artwork. We will create the secondary artwork, which starts off with vector textures and photographic images, which will be used for your social media. Combining and building on the first textures and photography, we expand on the elements which can be used for the website and or printed elements. |
Brand Style Guide is a guide with the recipe and rules for your brand. This rule book on how to use your original art grows and develops with your brand over time. It is the master blueprint of the feel and style of the wardrobe that your business will be wearing. A brand style guide outlines the values of your brand and helps partners and retailers to not devalue your brand when using it in their own artwork and promotions.
Brand Style Guide is what the design community will call the ' brand bible'. This document will include all the elements that we have created for your brand. Starting with the logo, pantone, fonts and rules on how to use the logo. Followed by the secondary artwork, pantone, fonts, rules and how the artwork should be used in the market place. The amount of elements we've designed and created for you will depend on the size of the final style guide.
